North Corner Brewing Supply carries a full range of wine making equipment, supplies and ingredients.  We also place a bulk order for grapes during the Fall harvest season. Here's a sampling of commonly used supplies: 

 

Wine Yeast

Pasteur Red  $1.38

A class full-bodied red wine yeast strain.  Used by many commericial wineries.  Good choice for all red wines and berry wines.  Medium-High alcohol tolerance.

Montrachet  $1.38

A traditional yeast strain, suitable for most wines. Can produce hydrogen sulfide (nutrients recommended).  Unique and complex flavor profile for Red and White Wines.  Medium–High alcohol tolerance.

Premier Cuvee  $1.38

Highly recommended, fast acting, all purpose yeast strain.  If your recipe doesn’t specify a yeast type, use this one. Suitable for most grape wines, fruit wines and mead, capable of finishing dry to 14% alcohol.  Very high alcohol tolerance!
 

Cote Des Blanc  $1.38

Excellent yeast for fruit wines or sweet wines.  Lower alcohol tolerance produces sweeter, more aromatic finish than other yeast strains, not recommended for use in dry finishing wines above 12% alcohol

Champagne  $1.38

Strong, alcohol tolerant yeast for whites wines and fruit wines.  Cold tolerant, but slow acting. A good choice for Mead.
 

Lalvin D-47   $1.50

(Similar strain as Red Star Cote Des Blanc) Lower alcohol tolerance produces sweeter, more aromatic finish than other yeast strains, not recommended for use in dry wines above 12% alcohol

Lalvin EC-1118  $1.50

A champagne yeast strain with good (low) temperature tolerance and very high alcohol tolerance (up to 18%.) A good choice for sparkling wines, high alcohol fruit wines and ciders.
